David founded digEcor's parent Total Aviation Solutions in 2009 and has over 25 years' experience in the aviation industry. He is former President of Boeing Australia and was the Managing Director for Smiths Aerospace (now GE Aviation) after completing his time with Qantas Airways. David has a Master of Business Administration, an Honors degree in Communications Engineering, trade qualifications in Aircraft Maintenance and is a Commercial Pilot. He is a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management.
Andrew joined digEcor in 2013 and has over 20 years' experience in senior finance roles in public and private companies including InvoCare, Bledisloe Group, Dolomatrix and QCT Resources. Prior to these roles, Andrew was a Senior Manager at KPMG in Brisbane and London. Andrew is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce.
Stuart joined digEcor in 2011 and quickly succeeded in instrumentally designing and building our extended product portfolio as VP of Engineering, heading up both the software and hardware groups. Stuart previously held the position of Manager of Engineering Quality at Microair and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Avionics).
Ariel oversees digEcor’s procurement, manufacturing and quality functions. Ariel joins digEcor from Zodiac Aerospace where he was Vice President, Operations. He brings more than twenty years’ experience in the electronic customer, electrical and aerospace industries throughout Mexico, the United States and Asia. Ariel has a Bachelor of Science (Electronics and Communications Engineering) and is currently completing his Masters in Innovation for Business Development.
Gene was previously Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Customer Support for Panasonic Avionics. During this time, he was responsible for the company’s sales and awards. His organization also included Product Management, Marketing and Customer Support world-wide
His earlier background includes various leadership roles in Program Management and Operations for Rockwell Collins and other aerospace companies totaling 28 years of experience in the IFEC industry.
Gene earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
Paul joined digEcor in 2014 from Rockwell Collins where had had been Sales Director for airline sales covering avionic and inflight entertainment systems. His career began as an apprentice with British Aerospace; he then worked on sales for BAe Corporate Jets before joining Sextant Avionique (now Thales) in 1995. With 19 years in the IFE industry, Paul is highly experienced in aircraft IFE integration and installations, maintenance and customer support. Paul has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering.
Tina oversees the strategic direction of digEcor’s marketing and communications function, with overall responsibility for brand, marketing, communications, events, proposal management, sales training and market research. Tina joins digEcor from Advisian (WorleyParsons Group) and brings many years’ experience as a senior marketing professional. She has a multifaceted skill set covering strategic marketing and general management across Asia Pacific and Europe, successfully leading and executing programs across multinational organisations with teams of different sizes.
Bob has joined digEcor as Interim VP, Operations and brings with him extensive experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and retailing. He has held senior leadership roles in both commercial and defence organisations including Thales Australia, ALMC and most recently, Signet. Bob has a comprehensive skill set spanning business and process improvement, operations, strategic planning and executive management. He holds a Master of Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
With over 30 years in the aviation industry, Jorge is responsible for digEcor's sales in North and Latin America and the Caribbean. Jorge began his aviation career in business aviation technical and support, followed by a move to IFE where he held engineering, sales and marketing roles with Sony Trans Com, Panasonic and Lumexis, serving mainly the Americas. In addition to commercial aviation, Jorge’s experience also spans broadcast television and digital cinematography where he managed Sony’s business development for Latin America.
Catherine joined digEcor in 2018 in the role of EMEA Sales Manager. Catherine has extensive experience in sales from across the Aeronautical industry. She previously worked for Airbus as the Upgrade Sales Manager and for PPG Aerospace as Sales Director. Catherine holds a degree in Political Science.
Stu has gained a wide range of experience in his 25 years in aviation through his roles in engineering, flight crew, corporate, and project management. Prior to joining digEcor he was the Group Technology Manager for an international carrier, managing day-to-day IFE operations and digital product development. Stu is a passionate communicator with an ability to develop innovative solutions for his clients. Stu is a qualified Prince2 practitioner, a licensed Flight Engineer, holds a Graduate Certificate of Aviation (Management), and is undertaking a Master of Business Administration.
