Wataniya Airways Upgrades In-flight Entertainment for Premium Economy
KUWAIT October 27, 2010 - Wataniya Airways, Kuwait’s only premium airline, today announced it has enhanced its in-flight entertainment offer on all its aircraft for its Premium Economy and Business First guests travelling to Europe.
The new system, which have been provided by digEcor Inc, one of the world’s leading in-flight entertainment suppliers, provides each Premium Economy guest with a portable media player filled with over 300 hours of entertainment, including Hollywood movies with Arabic sub-titles, Arabic movies, Arabic and English television programming, music, music videos, and games.

As a start, the new system will be available to guests traveling on long-haul flights to Vienna and Istanbul, with a plan to have it across the whole network in later stages. The system will be available free of charge for all guests on Wataniya Airways’ Premium Economy guests. And while the airline’s guests on BusinessFirst will continue to receive their usual in-seat entertainment, the new portable media players will be available to them on European routes upon request.
