The Challenge

From IFE to the in-flight catering, Hawaiian Airlines strongly emphasizes passenger choice. So we worked with Hawaiian's in-flight team to provide a customized content set with many options. The revamped IFE program increased user engagement and passenger satisfaction.

The Approach

In short, here's what we did:

  1. Identified the need for a greater variety of titles based on passenger feedback.
  2. The Content team gurus selected a mix of titles better suiting Hawaiian's passenger demographic.
  3. Hawaiian's hallmark personality and strong brand were reflected in a new, custom user interface.
  4. Passengers rejoiced.

The Results

The new mix of custom movie and TV show titles increased passenger satisfaction and reduced the number of inflight complaints. Confident in the results, Hawaiian Airlines renewed its contract and continues to offer digEplayers to satisfied passengers on domestic and international flights today.
