As 2010 draws to a close, I find myself pondering on the changes in the industry and what is coming in the next 12 months. I’m sure that many of you are going through the same mental exercise. As a vendor to the airline industry, our success depends on being able to navigate trends and identify long-term solutions.

How Consumers are Searching Online for Airlines
by Adam Williams on November 23, 2010 in Social Media
Since my job is to focus on all things marketing, I follow several online publications. One of my favorite’s, Hubspot, recently produced an Online Marketing Opportunity Report. At first, I was greedy and kept the information to myself. I’ve repented though and decided to share the valuable information with the industry.
ARAC 2010: Video Q&As with Shashank Nigam, Patrick Sojka, Ivor Smith and Chris Gardner

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the annual Ancillary Revenue Airline Conference, which was hosted in conjunction with the FFP Loyalty Conference and Co-Brand Partnerships Conference. Altogether, the conference was called the Mega Event and held in chilly Montreal, Canada. While at the conference, I spoke with a few leaders in the industry about trends and what airlines can do to enhance their offerings

Will in-flight connectivity be profitable?
by Adam Williams on July 21, 2010 in Connectivity
Each month, I have the pleasure of finding several valuable and interesting articles for our newsletter Airline Solutions Insider. In my search, I had found several articles suggesting that in-flight Wi-Fi would be free by next summer when another article outlining how much revenue the connectivity industry was set to generate this year caught my attention. Not surprising, there are some opposing views of how financially viable in-flight connectivity is or will be.
